These pipe tongs are the safest, most cost-effective way to move concrete, metal, or plastic pipe. Our exclusive actuator uses the power of gravity to allow the scissor action of the pipe tongs to clamp securely on PVC, iron, or concrete pipe. If you move pipe using straps or teacups, the Pipe Lift attachment will make a definite impact in your productivity. The operator is able to use the pipe tongs to grab, lift, and move pipe without assistance.
Doubles your production output versus the sling and chain methods. The pipe tongs unique, wide scissor-grip design enables a stable lift to be achieved even when the pipe has been picked off-center. This eliminates the need to position a sling dead-center. Models are available in semi automatic and fully automatic models.
